January 30, 2009

Anna first discovered yoga in 1997 while working on her Bachelor’s degree at SUNY Brockport. She quickly discovered that her relationship with yoga would become a lifetime bond. After moving to NYC in 2004 she took full advantage of everything that the NYC yoga scene had to offer. Most recently she completed her 200 hour teacher training at Om Yoga. Anna believes that yoga has multiple physical and mental benefits. She’s particularly interested in inspiring everyone from the brand new beginner to the advanced practitioner to integrate the teachings of yoga into their everyday life. Currently Anna teaches Vinyasa style yoga at studios throughout NYC and is also available for private sessions and corporate groups. This asana practice links breath to movement creating a smooth, yet lively pace. Promoting strength and flexibility in the body, increasing energy and unearthing a focused and centered state of mind is the core of this practice.
