Malissa’s Yoga playlist

May 4, 2009

Posted by Malissa

The yoga practice is so closely connected to music for me that I simply had to make my music choices available for you guys.  Every class I carefully hand select the yummiest of tunes for your yogi listening pleasure. Music not only connects movement and breath but it connects with our heartbeat. When your in your mothers womb so close to her heart you hear that drum beat even before you hear the amazing drumin sounds of your favorite musicians as you enter the world with big ole singing lungs. Music is a deep part of our human nature and what better way to connect back to your musical roots than through some yummy yoga!

If you hear it in my class you can find it here. Need a music suggestion? I have tons of local musicians and ones from afar that rock with me and that will satisfy your yogi music lovin self! Have a suggestion for me?? Im all ears. I love new music and playing friends in class. If it fits the yoga mood count it played. Can’t wait to see everyone Thursday and Sunday [ Im making tasty cookies! ] and please check out the list below and visit your local ITunes store for some musical vacationing! MUCH LOVE FROM THE DEEPEST PARTS OF MY ANAHATA!!!
