New class at Sangha! Candlelight Hatha every Tuesday and Thursday 9-10pm

Join Kayma Englund every Tuesday and Thursday evening 9-10pm for Candlelight Hatha! This class adds creative variations to the traditional hatha yoga teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vivekananda in a calming candlelit ambience. This class aims to reverse the body’s energy flow with incorporations of asana and breathing exercises while using the ancient wisdom of Yoga to achieve control, balance, and strength of the body and mind.

This class is open to all levels.

Kayma also teaches Vinyasa at Sangha Yoga Shala every Monday & Friday at 4:30, Monday and Wednesday at 12pm and Saturday at 10:30am

About Kayma

Kayma Englund is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor, Reiki Healer and Sangha Yoga Shala studio manager. Raised by a yoga teacher and philosopher, these teachings have been a part of her life since childhood. Since then she has attended many workshops at Kripalu Yoga Center as well as completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training with the Arhanta Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Northern India where she gained a deeper understanding of the spiritual, philosophical, and physical teachings of yoga. Since her training, Kayma has immersed herself in the teachings of Ashtanga Yoga which strongly influence her classes. Kayma believes in the importance of the eternal student and that the greatest teachings come in our interactions with every day life. She invites you to join her classes with an open mind and open heart.

Kayma also teaches Vinyasa Yoga at Sangha:

Mndays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 12pm ($10 community class)

Saturday mornings at 10:30am.

    Kayma is a natural teacher who is passionate about her art. She exhibits a mature understanding for someone so young. I look forward to a class with her. Highly recommended and gifted!
